Payment Online Payment Option The Bay Tree Bookstore accepts the following forms of payment online:

In-Store Payment Options In addition to the credit cards listed above, in-store purchases may also be made
with cash, check and gift certificates. We are unable to provide Cash Back services at this time. Checks may be written for over
the total amount for up to $20 per check.
We also offer convenient Student Debit accounts that may be used in the store for purchases.
For more information about establishing a Student Debit account, please visit our Debit Center page. The Bay Tree Bookstore accepts campus recharges for purchases by UCSC departments and units.

recharge forms, please call the Customer Service Deparment at 831.459.4815.Return to topCredit Card Security When you finalize your online order at checkout, you will be
asked for the three or four digit credit card security code from your card. This code is not stored in your account profile
and must be provided on the last page before finalizing your order. You can find this number on the front of American Express
cards or on the back of all Mastercard, Visa or Discover cards.

profile or entering it at checkout. Do not use spaces or hyphens when entering your card.
To prevent delays in our fullfiling your order, please be sure that the billing address on your order matches
the information on your credit card account. If you have recently moved or are unsure of your billing address, please contact your
card-issuing bank using the 800 number on the back of your credit card to confirm your address. Verifying your billing address will
prevent any unnecessary delays in our
processing your order. Return to top Sales Tax In accordance with state and local laws, purchases placed online will
be charged the applicable Santa Cruz County sales tax provided the billing address is in the state of California. The exception to this is for purchases made
online and picked up in the store. These purchases would include textbook
orders, graduation regalia and other special promotions. If you inadvertently select a shipping option for any items that are indicated as
";Pickup Only";, we will change your order's shipping preference to ";Pickup"; when we process the order and you will be
charged California state tax. All in-store purchases will be taxed using the applicable sales tax for Santa Cruz County. Return to top Gift Invoice If you are sending someone a gift, please be sure to check the box that
reads "This order is a gift". This option will be found on the first page when you log in to place your order. A gift invoice will be sent
to the recipient with the pricing information omitted. Be sure to enter an alternate
shipping address if the gift recipient's address is different than your billing/shipping address. For returns, please review the
